1 package pasta and cheese
1/2 pound lean ground beef
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 - 14 oz can Italian flavored tomatoes
Ingredients:
1 p ackage pasta and cheese
6 slices bacon, diced
1 can kernel corn
50 m L salsa
Ingredients:
1 package white cheddar pasta and cheese
1/2 cup chopped ham
1/2 can kernel corn, drained
1/2 cup crushed tortilla chips
1/4 cup salsa
Directions:
1. Prepare macaroni and cheese accoring to package directions, using a large pot and omitting the milk and margarine.
2. Brown the ground beef in a frying pan.
3. Wash mushrooms and slice. Add to meat and stir. Cook for 5 minutes over medium heat.
4. Add the tomatoes, including the juice, to the meat mixture. Simmer, uncovered for 5 minutes so the mixture will thicken. (Some water content should evaporate.)
5. Add the prepared mac & cheese and stir. Heat through.
6. Serve
Directions:
1. Prepare macaroni and cheese according to package directions, using a large pot and omitting the milk and margarine.
2. Cook the bacon in a frying pan, over medium heat. Cook until crisp. Remove the acon from the pan and put it on a plate that has been covered with paper towel. this willa bsorb some of the fat. Pour the remaining fat into a coffee cup and leave it on the counter to cool. DO NOT pour the fat down the sink!
3. Combine the prepared mac & cheese, cooked bacon, drained corn and salsa in the large pot. Heat over medium heat until mixture is heated through.
4. Serve

3. Combine the prepared pasta and cheese, chopped ham and drained corn in the large pot.
